Board
Members:
The association will be governed by 5 board members
selected from those holding a current CVA membership. Four
board members will be selected from the states within one
of the four time zones and will represent the states within
time zone respectfully. The fifth member will be selected
to serve at large.
Each of the board members will be appointed for 5 years
except for the first board which will have members selected
for 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 years respectively. Each year the
remaining 4 board members will elect a new board member to
replace the off going board member. Board members will
decide if a vendor wanting to join the association meets
the requirements for membership. Three of the 5 board
members must agree on the qualification of the applicant
before they are admitted as a member.
Any member may be dismissed at the discretion of the board.
Treasurer:
Treasurer will be appointed by the board for 5 years but
may serve repeated terms at the discretion of the board.
Treasurer’s responsibility is to maintain a bank account.
Treasurer may also serve as a board member.
Administrator:
The Administrator will be appointed by the board for a
period of 5 years and may serve for repeated terms at the
discretion of the board. Administrator responsibilities
include keeping records, making quarterly reports to the
board on activities of the association, inform the board of
new applicants, handle day to day activities such as
advertising and other duties as the board may deem
necessary. Administrator may also serve as a board member
or as the Treasurer.
